Roland Garros 1981

Roland Garros, 1981. Hardcover. 124 pages. 28 x 21,5 cm. Text in French. VG · Minor signs of wear. We’re totally in love with this! We adore this super cover and typography! The 1981 Roland Garros official album programme is a standout collectible, featuring a striking cover illustration by Spanish artist Eduardo Arroyo, portraying tennis legend Björn Borg. Merging sport and contemporary art, the cover captures Borg’s iconic presence at the peak of his clay court dominance. A unique piece that blends tennis history with cultural expression, it’s a rare gem for fans of both the game and vintage sports memorabilia. (In Luca Guadinigno’s film Call Me by Your Name, you can see the poster, among other posters hanging, on the walls of Ellio’s room)
