This fantastic SFTGFOP1 organic and biodynamic first flush Darjeeling tea comes from Samabeong estate which is located amidst virgin forests in Kalimpong since 1870 in the West Bengal district. This STFGFOP1 is really amazing, fruity and floral with light astringency typical of a nice Darjeeling. Samabeong packs a serious morning punch!
As you probably have realized, we don’t list Darjeeling teas as «Black Teas or even as «Red Teas» but as «Himalaya» Teas. The reasoning is evident with first flush teas like this which undergo such a light oxidation that it really makes no sense to call them Black teas.
